My farm has officially changed names.
It is no longer Stable for Champions.
Please welcome Golden Hart Estates!
My horses will retain their initials of SFC, both for showing and pedigree assignment, so if you have parents/foals from my stables, don't worry about changing anything.
However, I may soon be drawing up a new logo, incorporating the gold stag part of the name.
The Story
For those curious, my last name is Gearhart. No one spells it right the first time they hear it because they want to spell it Gearheart. However, hart is a term for deer, and I love that it's different than people expect.
Also, I wrote a story/novel (not published yet!), but it's a very long one, and in it, my main character has gold magic. Gold has always stood out to me as being the strongest color. Even though my absolute favorite color is silver!!
So, I finally came up with a name for my stables that thoroughly represents me, and I am very excited about the change.
The Stable for Champions represented my childhood me.
