Ok so Im back from my first live show!
its was alot of fun, Novice division was small but very competitive (one little girl has won breyerfest raffle models 2 yrs in a row and had models that cost more than all of mine combined lol) my guys did pretty well so it went better than expected. But one thing that drove me crazy the whole day was litle girls who wine and cry and order (not ask) their mothers to spend huge amounts on silent aution and raffle models. it was ridiculus. the two girls at the table across form me never stopped whining for thier mothers to bid and keep checking that they were winning. and there were no thank yous to be found. but anyway, back to the good parts. me and my $5 worth of raffle tickets did quite well, I won 2 stone 'gem stones' (1 pink 1 green) and a lot of 3 bodies( 1 mistys twilight, 1 older foal and a rearing classic) the mistys twilight enede up being save since all her scratches were on her white a magic eraser brought her back PSQ so I was excited about that
There was also a display of Morgen resins, they ahd a set up of in-process sculptures which we werent allowed to take pics of. but there was a gorgeous arab in a striking position.
