So I have found a reasonably close live show that i think i can go to (gotta get info and try to find some $$) but anyways, what is collectibility? and how do you know what horses would do well in it? is it only for rare models? basically i have no clue. any help would be great. thanks

As near as I can tell, from the one show I've been to, Collectibillity is based on rarity. But, it's not always about SRs or one of a kinds. Color and pattern variations also account for some of it. I was told to document any kind of info like how many were made, is the color different than what it should be, is it missing spots or has spots where it shouldn't. Things like that.

At the Spokane Show, collectibilitiy had different categories. We had classes for SR tradition Realistic and UN realistic, SR Minis.. umm I forget the others I will have to look at the results. I remember I entered a few horses in it. My Puuku was able to be entered because he was a limited edition.. It depends on the show.. This is what they had for the class list at the spokane show.. but it was modified at the show but I can't open the results on this computer.. It gives you an idea though...

That's a lot different than the show I went to. They judged collectibility at the same time they judged the halter classes.

Ah I see. Well at the Spokane Show, we did that last because that judge was also judging the OF Open Halter classes.. so it had to be done that way.. and she made up different classes for it.. well changed the classes a bit. I guess it depends on the show holder..
