Resizing With Adobe Photoshop
- Open the original image.
- On the grey toolbar at the top, choose 'Image' then 'Image Size'.
- In the Resolution box, make sure it says 72.
- Out of the Width and Height options, make sure that the largest number there is 400, and that it says 'Pixels' beside both of them.
- Then save the image as a .jpg (hit ctrl + alt + shift + s or on the File menu), and upload as normal.
Resizing With Jasc Paint Shop Pro
- Open the image.
- On the grey toolbar at the top, there's an option called 'Image'. Click on that, then click on the option 'Resize.'
- In the pop-up menu, change the resolution to 72, make sure the dimensions (could be under a different name) is selected as 'Pixels', and made sure that the biggest number out of the height and width options is at 400.
Then press 'OK', and save the image, then upload as normal.
Resizing in Google's Picasa
- Open Picasa, and locate the photo you wish to resize.
-Click 'File', then choose 'Export PIcture to Folder.'
- In the 'Location of Exported Folder', make (or find) a folder where you will save your resized pictures.
- In the 'Image Size' option, change the number to 400 (or 350 if you will be showing on other sites), then click 'OK.'

Resizing With Photobucket
- Upload your photo.
- Once the new page has loaded, click on the 'Edit' link above your photo.
- Click the 'Resize' button under your photo's title, and choose an option. Note that your photo will not be contorted to fit the exact pixels given next to each option, but will be merely resized to be as close as possible.
- Click 'OK' on the prompt.
- To save yourself having to resize your photo each time you upload it, save the resized photo to your computer.
